Glen Water

Glen Water is a sixth year PhD student in educational policy studies with a focus in comparative and international education. Glen is interested in researching best practices within critical citizenship education in the United States, Palestine, and Egypt. Before coming to UW–Madison, Glen was a high school teacher in Ewa Beach, Hawai’i and Ramallah, Palestine, and an assistant director at a middle school in Phoenix, Arizona. Glen is currently conducting research in New York City, where he also works in Service Learning and Civic Engagement at the Brooklyn Friends School. During the summers, he helps to run a summer English enrichment program for Palestinian students in the West Bank.
